Awesome Theatre

Awesome Theatre is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Arts Organization based in San Francisco, Ca. We are dedicated to producing new, relevant, stylized, theatrical, live multimedia entertainment that appeals to people who never thought they’d like theatre. (Or that they’d feel welcome.) But also to be a breath of fresh air to even the most regular theatre-goer. We strive to create work that is fun, accessible, creative, unique, and knowing without being pretentious. We are committed to creating opportunities for emerging artists and exclusively producing new plays by local writers. Every artist we work with is encouraged to be creative, try different things, and be weird. Our goal at Awesome Theatre is to create a lasting and original adventure for every audience member and collaborator, a shared escapade of escapist entertainment.

Killing My Lobster

Killing My Lobster is San Francisco's premiere sketch comedy theatre company. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit, they have been producing fast, smart, fearless, and inclusive sketch comedy that boldly tests the limits of what sketch can be since 1997. They also teach classes for adults in comedy writing and acting, as well as providing unique skillbuilding and team workshops for professionals and young artists.

SF YOUTH THEATRE

San Francisco Youth Theatre transforms youth and communities through accessible opportunities in theatre arts creation, education, and performance. With focused outreach to youth from historically underserved communities, SFYT programs are designed to foster personal growth and create lasting social impact.

SFYT is a community arts organization founded in 2014 by Director Emily Klion. We offer year-round skill-building classes, performance ensembles, and internships for youth ages 4-24 who act, dance, sing, direct, write, paint, make friends, and form an inclusive community of young creatives. From preschool storytelling to professional touring productions, SFYT creates high quality theatre that speaks to the unique sensibilities of youth.
